What is C4 Broadcaster?
C4 Broadcaster is an Android app that lets you broadcast live to CAM4 from your mobile device! Find out more about it here. https://www.cam4.com/app/broadcasting
How do I download C4 Broadcaster?
You can download C4 Broadcaster to your Android device from the Google Play store.
What devices does C4 Broadcaster work on?
Any Android device running Android version 4.4.2 or higher can install and use C4 Broadcaster.
What is allowed outside on CAM4?

Can I broadcast in both landscape and selfie modes?
Yes you can!
Can I record my show?
Yes, you can record parts of your shows, just tap the record button located next to the start broadcast button. You can start/stop recording at any time during your broadcast. Once your are finished you can either save or discard the video. Any videos you save will be stored directly on your phone gallery, so you don’t need to interrupt your show.
Can I upload videos?
Yes you can upload these videos and any others on your phone directly from the app
Once you’re finished you can go to Cam4, check the approval status, manage your profile and edit the video information in MyShop.
You can use tokens to buy homemade videos from broadcaster shops!
Buying videos from broadcasters is a safer, easier way to collect amateur videos from the broadcasters you love to watch. No personal information needs to be exchanged – just click the thumbnail and add it to your Library!
You can find Shops at the top of a broadcaster’s profile if they have uploaded content for sale.
Each video has a thumbnail that gives you more information.
1. Price – The token cost to buy the video. If this says “Free”, you can add the video to your library at no cost!
2. Length – How long the video is.
3. Likes – How many likes the video has. You can only like a video once it has been purchased.
4. Views – How many times the video has been watched.
5. Information – Click this to see a longer description of the video.
6. Title – What the video is called!
7. Tags – These make the video easier to find in your library.
Once you buy a video, it gets added to your Library. Your Library can be found in your account.
You can come back to your library any time to watch your videos!
You can upload videos for sale from a new My Shop area on your profile.
To get started, you need to upload your first videos.
1. Click Manage Shop in My Account
2. Drag your video files into the upload area
The maximum file size is 3GB.
3. Fill out the details of your video
4. Click Start Upload
The upload will begin!
Once the video is uploaded, there will be a short transcoding phase to prepare it for the CAM4 video player.
5. Wait for Approval
Your video needs to be checked to make sure that it meets the CAM4 Terms and Conditions. This may take up to 48 hours.
6. Manage your Shop
Once your videos are approved, you can manage them from the My Shop section. You can edit the details of each video, or monitor your earnings once your shop is available for viewers.
Edit Video Details
You can click the edit button to make changes to your video details. From here, you can change the title, description, hash tags, cost, and downloadability of your video. Click thumbnails to choose a cover for your video from a list of frames.
You may also delete videos from CAM4 from here.
7. Keep an eye on your stats!
Check Earnings
Once your shop goes live for all users this Spring, you will be able to see how much you’ve earned from each of your uploaded videos on their thumbnails.
Get Insights
You can use your My Shop Insights to help you refine your shop and make popular videos!
Click the Insights button to get a detailed view of your earnings per video, your top shopper and more.
When will viewers be able to buy my videos?
Your videos will go on sale from your profile in Spring 2017. Make sure you have your videos uploaded and ready to sell!
Why can’t I see My Shop in My Account?
If you are interested in selling videos but do not see My Shop, please contact support@cam4.com to have this section enabled on your account.
What happens if my video contains music in the background?
Due to copyright issues, if any music is heard in the background of your video, ALL sound must be muted.
How do I protect my privacy when using My Shop?
You can control who can see your shop by limiting what countries can view your profile. You can delete your videos at any time. For more information on protecting your privacy will on CAM4, click here.
What happens if I delete something from My Shop?
If you delete something from your video gallery, it is also deleted from CAM4 entirely.
Can I upload videos directly phone my mobile phone?
Yes! By logging in to CAM4 on your mobile phone browser, you can follow the same steps as above to upload videos you recorded on your phone.
Live Touch is a brand new tipping mode that is way hotter and more interactive than regular tipping. With Live Touch, you can now connect your bluetooth sex toys directly to CAM4 while broadcasting!
Live Touch tipping mode requires the FeelPerformer app to connect your device to CAM4.
You can find the FeelPerformer app in the iOS App Store or Google Play Store, or you can easily download it by scanning the QR code on your broadcast window.
1. Click the Live Touch Button on your broadcast window.
2. Scan the QR Code to download the FeelPerformer app.
Now that the app is downloaded, you need to connect it with your sex toy.
1. Turn on Bluetooth on your mobile device.
2. Turn on your sex toy.
3. Find and connect your device on the FeelPerformer app.
Once your toy is connected to the FeelPerformer app, you need to connect to CAM4 so that your tips buzz the toy!
Click the Live Touch Button on your Broadcast Window again.
1. Click Connect Now.
2. Scan the green QR code to connect!
The QR code will turn green. When it does, you’re ready use the FeelPerformer app to scan the code.
3. You’re connected!
Now your toy is connected and you’re ready to broadcast with Live Touch! When viewers send you tips, your toy will buzzzzz!
Every time tokens are sent to a broadcaster, a tip sound is played for the tipper, the broadcaster, and all other viewers in chat.
Tip sounds change based on the size of the tip. There are four tiers of tip sounds.

The bigger the tip amount, the bigger and longer the sound will be.
Video encoders are software that allows your digital video to be broadcast live!
CAM4 uses its own encoder, so you just need to click Broadcast to go live on the site. Some sites, like Twitch or YouTube Livestreaming, require you to download external encoders before you can broadcast.
External Encoders can be technical to configure, but they give you many more options for setting up and running your broadcast. With an external encoder, you can fine-tune your video quality, add images or videos to your broadcast, stream video games live, and so much more. Savvy users may even be able to add scrolling lists of top tippers or favorite gifts!
CAM4 has added support for an external encoder to the broadcast window – Open Broadcaster Software (OBS).

Cam4 viewers can subscribe to any model’s schedule and get reminders before they go live. You don’t need to be a Gold Member, this is available to all Cam4 users. Does Live Show Scheduling require a Cam4 account? Yes. Basic Cam4 Members and Cam4 Gold Members may use the Live Show Scheduling feature. To sign up for a free Cam4 account, click here.
How do I see my Live Show Schedule? You can see your Live Show Schedule by going to your account information on the upper right corner. Click the Calendar icon next to your username at the top of the site.
You can also see your Live Show Schedule by clicking Calendar in the My Account tab.
What do the colors on the calendar refer to? Orange dots refer to Live Shows scheduled by broadcasters that you subscribe to. Blue dots refer to Live Shows that you are scheduled to perform in.
How do I know how many shows are scheduled today? The number of shows scheduled for the current day is displayed next the calendar icon on the top of the site.
There is no way to tell if someone tipping is fraudulent, but there are things you can look for to protect yourself that will help keep it to a minimum and also benefit your fellow broadcasters.
New Members
You can see when someone became a member of CAM4 by checking their profile. Brand new users tipping large amounts may be an indicator of fraud.
Please keep in mind that not all new members are fraudulent. Someone with a longer history at CAM4 does tend to be safer but there is always a possibility of a member contacting their bank and stating they did not make the purchases (chargeback).
Tipping Behavior
There are things you can look for during your show that should be a red flag as possible fraud. Here are a few:
Most tippers, especially new ones, will tip in small numbers to see if a broadcaster will follow through with goals or requests.
Rule of thumb: someone spending money wildly may not be spending their own.
Track Your Fraud
If you have repeat fraud from a particular country it may be time to add that country to your block list.
What Do I Do If I Suspect Fraud?
If at any time you feel someone is fraudulent and wish to refuse their tip, please notify us at fraud@cam4.com and we will take care of that for you.
Please keep in mind that all tokens tipped are purchased through one of our processors. Voids are tokens that were purchased with a stolen credit card or the tipper contacted their bank stating they did not make the purchase.
There is no such thing as ‘fake tokens’. Token adders are exe files that are designed to steal your log-in and compromise your account and should never be clicked on. If you find a link to a token adder please report it to us at: technical@cam4.com so we can have it removed.
