There is a bug in OSX Lion where the Flash Player Settings dialog pops up and prompts you to click “Allow” but you are unable to do it.
Here is the fix:
Go to System Preferences on your Mac
Select Flash Player
Go to Camera and Mic Settings By Site…
For the entry for edgecast.cam4s.com please change the setting from Ask to Allow
In this window click the + sign to the bottom left to add a new entry as below
If you do not see the webcam picture but instead all you see is a white screen, please try the following: Sometimes other devices on your computer (other cameras, video cards, software) will show up as a camera source to Flash, and you need to specify which one is your active webcam.

What Is Beat The Leader?
Beat The Leader is a game viewers can play to make sure they are always the Tip Leader in a room – so they can keep getting the attention that comes with being the leader!
How does Beat The Leader work?
The Beat The Leader button gives viewers the option to automatically send a broadcaster enough tokens to become the new tip leader.
How many tokens does the Beat The Leader button send?
After clicking Beat The Leader, you can choose to send enough tokens to match the current leader, plus 1 – making you the new tip leader.
Or, you can choose to CRUSH the current leader by sending an extra 100!
Where can I find Beat The Leader?
Beat The Leader is available on any cam that has tipping enabled. The button will appear below the goal bar once a viewer has become the tip leader.
What if I tip anonymously?
If you send tips anonymously and become the tip leader, you will appear as anonymous in the Beat The Leader menu.

If a performer increases or decreases their Fan Club price:
In the event of a performer deleting their account your subscription will be canceled

CAM4 Browser Notifications let you know when broadcasters you follow are broadcasting live, so you never miss them in action.
If one of the broadcasters you follow is broadcasting when you come online or starts broadcasting while you’re online, a notification will appear in your browser. You can click it to start watching the show easily.
How do I enable CAM4 Browser Notifications?
Browser Notifications are enabled by default. Just follow some broadcasters and you’ll be notified when they start performing!
Once you see a notification for the first time, your browser will ask if you accept desktop notifications.
Are CAM4 Browser Notifications active when I’m not on CAM4?
No, you will only receive CAM4 Browser Notifications when you have CAM4 open in a browser window and are logged in to your account.
However, if you accept desktop notifications, you will receive CAM4 Browser Notifications while surfing the web, reading emails, or using any other application on your computer, provided CAM4 is open in a browser.
Do the notifications repeat?
No. Notifications for the same broadcaster aren’t repeated, so that you won’t be spammed by unwanted messages.

Room Ban
While you are in a Broadcaster’s room you are their guest and if they wish to remove you for some reason they can or assign someone to do it for them. Most Broadcasters will ban you for spamming, abusive/threatening behavior or capping of their shows. Too many of these bans will result with you losing your ability to chat throughout the site.
Chat Ban
These bans are applied through an automated process; points are awarded for positive behavior and points are removed for negative behavior. Any time you receive sufficient negative points your chat will automatically be disabled until sufficient positive points are earned. You can still view cams and also broadcast and chat in your own room which will earn you positive points.

Here’s how you can take your Cam4 shows to the next level:
Sign into your Cam4 account with your username and password you will then need to access your calendar. This can be reached in two ways
1. Click the calendar icon to the top right of the cam4 page
2. Click My Account to access your profile options and select the Calendar link
Click Schedule Show on the Calendar page
Now add in the details for your shows:
1. Your Time Zone – Edit your Time Zone in the Edit Profile Info tab
2. The date your Live Show will take place
3. The Start Time – When your Live Show begins
4. Duration – How long you intend the show to be
5. A brief Description of what the show will involve
6. Repeat Event: For regular shows, please choose from daily, weekly or monthly
7. Repeat For: Choose the number of times to repeat a daily, weekly or monthly event
Finish scheduling your Live Show by clicking Create New Show.
To manage your calendar click the Calendar icon next to your username. From here, you can see when you’ve scheduled a broadcast, edit your scheduled shows by clicking the pencil icon, and add more shows.
FAQ
How many shows may I schedule for one day? You may schedule up to 5 shows on each date.
Am I required to do the shows that I schedule? We encourage you to keep your schedule up-to-date and make changes to the details of upcoming shows if you are unable to broadcast during the scheduled time. By not performing in the shows that you schedule, you risk upsetting your fans. That may mean losing subscribers and tips!
How do I edit or cancel a scheduled show? To delete or edit the details of a show, click on the [Edit Show Icon] in the Live Show Schedule.
How do I export my Live Show Schedule to Google Calendar/iCal/Outlook?
a. Sign in to Cam4 with your username and password.
b. Click the Calendar Icon, or click Manage My Calendar in the My Account tab.
c. Below the Calendar, click on the icon for the Calendar application you wish to export your Calendar to.
i. iCal
ii. Outlook
iii. Google Cal
d. Click “OK” to finish the export and update your Calendar.
How far in advance may I schedule a live show? You may schedule Live Shows up to 90 days from the current date.
How do I change my timezone? To change your timezone when scheduling a show, click the Edit Profile Info tab in the Manage My Account page and select your timezone from the dropdown menu.
Whether you broadcast or post images online you run the risk of someone reposting your content. If you find your CAM4 videos/images uploaded to another website please make a list of links to each of the videos/images you wish to have removed and send it to dmca@cam4.com, and we will be pleased to try and help you get them removed.
