How to request a payment

Make sure you are logged into your account
Click the cogwheel in the upper right of your screen and click “Performer Dashboard”.

  • upload documents for those appearing on cam,
  • Cash out your earnings,
  • see your payment and earning histories.

Can I send funds from my eWallet to my PayPal account?

No, you must have the Paxum card in order to make this transfer.

How soon will new cards be available?

Paxum hopes to have new cards printed and sent out in the next 4-5 weeks.

Are funds loaded to my external card automatically from my Paxum account?

As soon as funds are sent to Paxum, they are loaded into your account. You can log into your Paxum account and see that you received the funds. You can then start a withdrawal to your bank account by wire/eft/sepa or you can withdraw to an external credit card. You can take a combination amount or all and even send funds to another Paxum user.

Can I have a personal account with Paxum if I am from the United States?

Paxum is no longer providing this service to USA Personal Account-Holders however if you have a company, you can open a Paxum Business account or, if that’s not possible, note that you can open an account with Paxum Bank (

When trying to register information on Paxum they request a series number for my ID; what is this?

Document Number: There are two fields here; Series and Number. If your document does NOT contain a Series, then simply input a hyphen “-” in that field. In the Number section, that is where you will input the number found on your Document (passport number, DL number, etc)

I know that at the moment only the wire transfer is available for Paxum, but can they attach any card that has an IBAN linked to it or is there a list of cards that are accepted or not?

An IBAN is required for withdrawals using bank transfers (wires). Withdrawals using an external credit/debit card requires only the debit/credit card number and information.

Please note: all debit and credit cards are accepted except cards issued by financial institutions in Canada, USA, Israel, and Japan.

What do I fill in for “Source of income”/”Purpose of account”?

Is there a minimum payout request for Paxum?

Yes, the minimum payment request is $50.00

What documents are needed for Paxum approval?

  1. Residents of an EU country, Canada, Australia or Switzerland need to submit a single ID, such as the International Passport, National ID or Driver’s License and a proof of address showing your last name and the address, issued in the last 6 months.
  2. Residents of all other countries (ex: Russian Federation, Ukraine, Colombia, Philippines, etc.) need to submit an International Passport OR 2 other IDs, such as the National ID, Local Passport (available for Russian Federation and Ukraine citizens) Driver’s License, Voter Card, Military ID or State ID and proof of address showing your last name and the, issued in the last 6 months.

Note: For countries requiring “2” photo ids. If they take a National photo ID to a notary and have the document notarized they will accept just “1” photo identification but it must be with a notary.

I sent a payment to Paxum, can I get it back?

All I see is a white screen?

If you do not see the webcam picture but instead all you see is a white screen, please try the following: Sometimes other devices on your computer (other cameras, video cards, software) will show up as a camera source to Flash, and you need to specify which one is your active webcam.

  • Right-click your mouse on the white screen (where your webcam picture should appear) and click on “Settings”.
  • Click on the “webcam” icon to bring up that tab and makes sure that your webcam is selected as the proper camera source.
  • Please make sure no other software like Yahoo, MSN, or other messenger/video applications are open, sometimes they can lock the camera so other programs (like Flash) can not access the webcam.
  • Please make sure you have the latest version of Flash player installed, re-install if necessary.
  • Please make sure that your webcam is properly installed. This means that in addition to physically connecting your webcam to your computer you must also install the proper drivers to make it work. Usually these drivers came on the CD with your webcam, but otherwise, you can Google your webcam type and download drivers for free online.

US Direct Deposit

Direct deposit payments are similar to wires, but because of the way they are processed they are faster and there is no cost to the performer.

PLEASE NOTE: While there is “no fee” from us to send the payment, your bank may charge a fee. This is not something we have any control over so please check with your bank.

Direct deposit payments are processed WEEKLY on FRIDAYS with a minimum payment request of $100.

Payments must be requested by TUESDAY 11:59pm EST to be included for payment on FRIDAY.

Due to changes made by our Direct deposit processor it will not be possible to add Direct deposit as a payment method to multiple accounts using the same Social Security Number (SSN).

How does it affect you?

  • If you only have one account no changes need to be made and payments can continue as normal.
  • If you have more than one account, only one can be used to cash out with Direct deposit as the payment method. For your additional accounts please use Cash to tokens as the payment method, you can then transfer the tokens to the account you have set up for Direct deposit through the tip jar or as gifts. Payment can then be requested from the Direct deposit account

SMS Verification

To add an additional layer of security and prevent others being able to login to your account you can now set up SMS verification, it only takes a few seconds to do.


  1. Please click the small cog wheel to the top right of the page
  2. Choose My Account in the menu that appears
  3. Scroll down to the Security section of the menu on the left
  4. Choose SMS Verification

6. Once you click submit a code will be sent to your phone

Can I disable SMS?

Broadcasting Rules

We love performers and the experiences they create. As part of our commitment to helping performers create memorable, unique experiences, CAM4 is proud to feature fewer limits than other cam sites. Performers are free to create the content they wish to create, with respect to the following few guidelines.

Please note that CAM4 is the sole arbiter of what meets these guidelines, and any actions will be made at their discretion.



  • Children or minors cannot appear on cam. Even in non-nude, non-suggestive instances – a minor cannot pass the age verification and is not approved for broadcasting.
  • Child pornography (CP) in any form is an immediate ban and additional legal action.

CAM4 does not discriminate against performers who have children. Performers with children are not barred from broadcasting on CAM4 or being promoted on CAM4 social media.


Animals can appear on cam if they are not involved in any sexual capacity.

Bestiality is an immediate ban. A nude performer cannot interact with an animal in any way.


Rape, forced sex and other violence, simulated or otherwise, is not allowed on cam. Cutting is not allowed on cam.


Family members are not permitted to appear on the same cam. Incest, actual or simulated, is not permitted on cam.


  • In general, alcohol and tobacco are allowed on cam, but illegal drugs are not.
  • If a person on cam is visibly intoxicated, or passed out, the show will be closed immediately, a warning will be issued to the broadcaster and repeat offenders will be banned.

Body Functions

  • Urine is allowed on cam. However, being urinated on, or urinating on someone else, is not permitted.
  • Scat (poo) is not permitted on cam.
  • Vomit or vomiting are not permitted on cam.
  • Naturally occurring blood, such as menstrual blood, is allowed on cam. However, it may not be featured or manipulated as part of a cam show.
  • Fake blood is allowed on cam in the context of Halloween costumes or other cosplay, at the discretion of CAM4.

Hate and Race

Racial slurs are not allowed.

Hate speech of any nature is not allowed.

CAM4 will be the sole arbiter of what is hate speech, including racial slurs or prejudicial commentary based on race. Be nice.


  • Advertising escort services is not allowed on CAM4. Advertising other sites is not allowed.
  • Advertising personal sites is allowed, as long as that site does not feature cam shows for outside payment.
  • Advertising services for alternate payment methods is not allowed.

Pre-recorded Shows

Prerecorded videos are not permitted. All broadcasts must be live.

Show Types

Outdoor Shows

  • Performers are encouraged to broadcast outdoors. Outdoor shows follow the same content guidelines and rules as regular broadcasts.
  • Like regular broadcasts, children or minors are not permitted on cam at any time.
  • Broadcasting from public locations is permitted, but strangers or anyone who is unaware they are on CAM4 may not be shown on cam.
  • Broadcasting from a car is permitted, but for safety reasons, the car must be parked. Buildings, traffic or advertisements are permitted in the background of broadcasts.
  • To avoid claims of invasion of privacy, CAM4 recommends that performers don’t broadcast from a height of more than 5’5” above ground.
  • Broadcasting from playgrounds, schools, graveyards or churches is not permitted.

Streaming Content (Games)

Performers are encouraged to stream video games or similar content, similar to Twitch.

Performers may stream content such as video games as long as they appear on cam as well. Performers may:

  • Appear along with the screen in view of the webcam.
  • Appear in picture-in-picture while streaming the game to CAM4 using an External Encoder.


  • Promises made in return for tips should be followed through.
  • When doing a private show do not delay starting the show or request more than the agreed price, this will just lead to refund requests from unhappy viewers
  • Performers who deliberately “scam” members will be banned from the website
  • Any attempt at fraud will result in a permanent ban, without payment.
  • Obtaining other members login information or logging into other accounts is not permitted. This will result in a permanent ban. Please do not share your own login information with anyone else.

Getting Started

Getting started with Cam4 is quick, free and easy! Click the “Create Free Account” button in the upper right of the home page and use the steps below to create your performer account.

Step 1.

Create an account that fits you and your personality. Make sure that you use an email address that contains no personal information.

HINT: Create a new email account with Gmail, Yahoo, etc. using your user name. This will keep your Cam4 account separate from your personal email. Make sure that your password is unique to Cam4.

Step 2.

Once you have created your account we’ll send a verification link to the email address you used to create the account. All you have to do to verify the account is click the link in the email. This will return you to Cam4 where you will receive a congratulations message on successfully creating your account.

Step 3.

Set up your profile! Your profile is where your fans can find out the latest about you. Add a profile picture, then share the right details with the right people. Start by clicking the cogwheel in the upper right of your screen and choose “MY ACCOUNT” in the drop down. From here you can block countries/states/provinces, set your profile image, etc. Keep in mind that anything you share on your profile is visible to all members, logged in or not, and will also be picked up by the search engines.

Step 4.

Once you are happy with your profile you are set to broadcast! There are no schedules or minimum hours required. You decide when you go on cam and what you do in front of your cam. Please make sure to read the rules on your chat window as these are important.

Each token you receive is worth .10 (100 tokens = $10.00). Once you have received some tokens, you can click on the Cam4bucks link in the orange bar; this is where you will upload your documents to be approved to cash out the tips received. The minimum payout is $50.00.

Studios – Creating a Master account

What is a Master Account?

A Master account is the main account of a studio. This account should only be accessed by the Owner of the studio and is the only account that can request payment from the studio.This account cannot broadcast and the profile is hidden from public view.

How Do I Create a Master?

Go to to register.


NOTE: Your Studio name and user name are not required to be the same.

What Information is Needed for a Master?

Once you click “Create Account” a verification email will be sent to you.



Click “Verify Your Account” and it will return you to the website with this message:



Clicking “Get Started” will take you to the next step of uploading your government-issued photo identification.



Make sure you enter your full name as it appears on your identification and don’t forget to tick the box



Click “Next” to be taken to “Live Snapshot”. This is required so the approval team can compare the identification to the screen cap taken. Click on the “Start Camera”. When you are happy with the photo click “Capture”.



You do have the opportunity to redo your photo if you’re not happy with it.

Once you’ve completed the steps, you will see:



Once approved, you will receive the following email. NOTE: Approvals generally take less than 24 hours, but can take a bit longer depending on volume.



Click “Manage Your Studio” in the email received and you will be taken to your Studio Dashboard.
