How Do I Upload Videos For Sale?

You can upload videos for sale from a new My Shop area on your profile.

To get started, you need to upload your first videos.

1. Click Manage Shop in My Account

2. Drag your video files into the upload area

The maximum file size is 3GB.

3. Fill out the details of your video

Title. This is what your video is called. Pick a name that entices people to want your video!
Description. Write a short explanation of what your video is about.
Hash Tags. Add some tags to make it easier to find your video.
Tokens. Decide how many tokens your video costs.
Free. Check this to make your video free for viewers. You could add free teasers of your longer videos!

4. Click Start Upload

The upload will begin!

Once the video is uploaded, there will be a short transcoding phase to prepare it for the CAM4 video player.

5. Wait for Approval

Your video needs to be checked to make sure that it meets the CAM4 Terms and Conditions. This may take up to 48 hours.

6. Manage your Shop

Once your videos are approved, you can manage them from the My Shop section. You can edit the details of each video, or monitor your earnings once your shop is available for viewers.

Edit Video Details

You can click the edit button to make changes to your video details. From here, you can change the title, description, hash tags, cost, and downloadability of your video. Click thumbnails to choose a cover for your video from a list of frames.

You may also delete videos from CAM4 from here.

7. Keep an eye on your stats!

Check Earnings

Once your shop goes live for all users this Spring, you will be able to see how much you’ve earned from each of your uploaded videos on their thumbnails.

Get Insights

You can use your My Shop Insights to help you refine your shop and make popular videos!

Click the Insights button to get a detailed view of your earnings per video, your top shopper and more.

Frequently Asked Questions

When will viewers be able to buy my videos?

Your videos will go on sale from your profile in Spring 2017. Make sure you have your videos uploaded and ready to sell!

Why can’t I see My Shop in My Account?

If you are interested in selling videos but do not see My Shop, please contact support@cam4.com to have this section enabled on your account.

What happens if my video contains music in the background?

Due to copyright issues, if any music is heard in the background of your video, ALL sound must be muted.

How do I protect my privacy when using My Shop?

You can control who can see your shop by limiting what countries can view your profile. You can delete your videos at any time. For more information on protecting your privacy will on CAM4, click here.

What happens if I delete something from My Shop?

If you delete something from your video gallery, it is also deleted from CAM4 entirely.

Can I upload videos directly phone my mobile phone?

Yes! By logging in to CAM4 on your mobile phone browser, you can follow the same steps as above to upload videos you recorded on your phone.

How Do I Enable Live Touch?

Live Touch is a brand new tipping mode that is way hotter and more interactive than regular tipping. With Live Touch, you can now connect your bluetooth sex toys directly to CAM4 while broadcasting!

To Enable Live Touch:

Download the FeelPerformer app to your mobile device

Live Touch tipping mode requires the FeelPerformer app to connect your device to CAM4.

You can find the FeelPerformer app in the iOS App Store or Google Play Store, or you can easily download it by scanning the QR code on your broadcast window.

1. Click the Live Touch Button on your broadcast window.

2. Scan the QR Code to download the FeelPerformer app.

Connect your toy to the FeelPerformer app

Now that the app is downloaded, you need to connect it with your sex toy.

1. Turn on Bluetooth on your mobile device.

2. Turn on your sex toy.

3. Find and connect your device on the FeelPerformer app.

Once your toy is connected to the FeelPerformer app, you need to connect to CAM4 so that your tips buzz the toy!

Click the Live Touch Button on your Broadcast Window again.

1. Click Connect Now.

2. Scan the green QR code to connect!

The QR code will turn green. When it does, you’re ready use the FeelPerformer app to scan the code.

3. You’re connected!

Now your toy is connected and you’re ready to broadcast with Live Touch! When viewers send you tips, your toy will buzzzzz!

What Are Tip Sounds?

Every time tokens are sent to a broadcaster, a tip sound is played for the tipper, the broadcaster, and all other viewers in chat.

Tip sounds change based on the size of the tip. There are four tiers of tip sounds.

Tier	Token Amount
Tier One	1 – 4
Tier Two	5 – 49
Tier Three	50 – 249
Tier Four	250+

The bigger the tip amount, the bigger and longer the sound will be.

What Is External Encoding?

Video encoders are software that allows your digital video to be broadcast live!

CAM4 uses its own encoder, so you just need to click Broadcast to go live on the site. Some sites, like Twitch or YouTube Livestreaming, require you to download external encoders before you can broadcast.

External Encoders can be technical to configure, but they give you many more options for setting up and running your broadcast. With an external encoder, you can fine-tune your video quality, add images or videos to your broadcast, stream video games live, and so much more. Savvy users may even be able to add scrolling lists of top tippers or favorite gifts!

CAM4 has added support for an external encoder to the broadcast window – Open Broadcaster Software (OBS).

Live Show Scheduling

Imagine if you had a TV guide for Cam4, and you could include own Cam4 shows. You can stop imagining because it’s now a reality! Our new Live Show Scheduling tool has launched! Cam4 viewers can subscribe to any model’s schedule and get reminders before they go live. You don’t need to be a Gold Member, this is available to all Cam4 users. Start by clicking the orange Subscribe button on your favorite models’ Cam4 pages. Scheduled shows are no different in price that regular shows, it’s just our way of making it easier for you to know when your favorite models are online. You can subscribe to a maximum of 100 models, and receive notifications 15 minutes before the shows begin.

Sync your calendar with your iPhone or export it to iCal, Outlook, or Google Calendar to make sure you don’t miss a show. Just click Calendar in the My Account tab and click on the icon you wish to export your schedule to (iCal, Outlook, Google Cal). Plus, models can share their goals, how long the show will be, and tease you with what they’ve got planned for each show so you can know what to expect.

Viewer FAQs How many broadcasters may I subscribe to? You may subscribe to a maximum of 100 broadcasters.

Does Live Show Scheduling require a Cam4 account? Yes. Basic Cam4 Members and Cam4 Gold Members may use the Live Show Scheduling feature. To sign up for a free Cam4 account, click here.

How do I see my Live Show Schedule? You can see your Live Show Schedule by going to your account information on the upper right corner. Click the Calendar icon next to your username at the top of the site.

You can also see your Live Show Schedule by clicking Calendar in the My Account tab.

What do the colors on the calendar refer to? Orange dots refer to Live Shows scheduled by broadcasters that you subscribe to. Blue dots refer to Live Shows that you are scheduled to perform in.

How do I know how many shows are scheduled today? The number of shows scheduled for the current day is displayed next the calendar icon on the top of the site.

Fraud Awareness

There is no way to tell if someone tipping is fraudulent, but there are things you can look for to protect yourself that will help keep it to a minimum and also benefit your fellow broadcasters.

New Members

You can see when someone became a member of CAM4 by checking their profile. Brand new users tipping large amounts may be an indicator of fraud.

Please keep in mind that not all new members are fraudulent. Someone with a longer history at CAM4 does tend to be safer but there is always a possibility of a member contacting their bank and stating they did not make the purchases (chargeback).

Tipping Behavior

There are things you can look for during your show that should be a red flag as possible fraud. Here are a few:

If you are chatting while clothed (not performing) and someone tips you – especially large amounts and they are not a regular.
Someone tipping you more than requested.
Someone tips without chatting or making a request – especially if “requests” is one of your goals.
Someone tips and then immediately leaves the room.

Most tippers, especially new ones, will tip in small numbers to see if a broadcaster will follow through with goals or requests.

Rule of thumb: someone spending money wildly may not be spending their own.

Track Your Fraud

If you have repeat fraud from a particular country it may be time to add that country to your block list.

What Do I Do If I Suspect Fraud?

If at any time you feel someone is fraudulent and wish to refuse their tip, please notify us at fraud@cam4.com and we will take care of that for you.

Please keep in mind that all tokens tipped are purchased through one of our processors. Voids are tokens that were purchased with a stolen credit card or the tipper contacted their bank stating they did not make the purchase.

There is no such thing as ‘fake tokens’. Token adders are exe files that are designed to steal your log-in and compromise your account and should never be clicked on. If you find a link to a token adder please report it to us at: technical@cam4.com so we can have it removed.

Adding Cam4 to your e-mail safe list (whitelist)

Most email providers now routinely employ anti-spam software. To make sure that you receive your verification email from CAM4 please select your email provider from the list below and follow the instructions provided.

Locate the Contacts option on the left navigation bar of your AOL Mail Home Page (under the Trash folder).
Click New Contact icon.
Type the contact information in the required and optional fields.
Scroll to the bottom and click Add Contact.
A confirmation message that the contact has been created will appear.
Repeat steps 2 through 5 for these email addresses:

Click the gear icon in the upper right, then choose “see all settings“
Click filters and blocked addresses, then scroll down and click “create a new filter”

On the next screen click “never send it to spam” and click “create filter”

Hotmail/Outlook

Click the gear icon in the top right, then click “View all Outlook settings“
Click “Email“, then “Junk email“.
Scroll down to “Safe senders and domains“
Click “+ Add”
Type the email in the box provided and press enter on your keyboard. Repeat for each of the following.

In the upper right, click the “contacts” icon. It is next to the calendar icon.
Click add a new contact at the bottom of that pane.

Getting Started

Getting started with Cam4 is quick, free, and easy! Click the “Create Free Account” button in the upper right of the Cam4.com home page and use the steps below to create your broadcasting account.

Step 1

Create an account that fits you and your personality. Make sure that you use an email address that contains no personal information.

HINT: Create a new email account with Gmail, Yahoo, etc. using your username. This will keep your Cam4 account separate from your personal email. Make sure that your password is unique to Cam4.

Step 2

Once you have created your account, we’ll send a verification link to the email address you used to create the account. All you must do to verify your account is click the link in the email. This will return you to Cam4 where you will receive a congratulations message on successfully creating your account.

Step 3

Set up your profile! Your profile is where your fans can find out the latest about you. Add a profile picture, then share the right details with the right people. Start by clicking the circular avatar in the upper right of your screen and choose “MY ACCOUNT” in the drop-down menu. From here you can block countries/states/provinces, set your profile image, etc. Keep in mind that anything you share on your profile is visible to all members, logged in or not, and will also be picked up by the search engines.

Step 4

Once you are happy with your profile you are set to broadcast! There are no schedules or minimum hours required. You decide when you go on cam and what you do in front of your cam. Please make sure to read the rules on your chat window as these are important.

Each token you receive is worth .10 (100 tokens = $10.00). Once you have received some tokens, you can click on your circular avatar in the upper right of the screen and choose Performer Dashboard; this is where you will upload your documents to be approved to cash out the tips received. The minimum payout is $50.00.

Learn how to send tips on Cam4

Broadcasters on Cam4 are working hard to please you. You can show them how much you appreciate it by tipping them with tokens. Sending a generous tip might even encourage broadcasters to take your requests, so send a tip and enjoy the show!

Show or Goal Details

This area shows either the performer’s show description, show topics, or Goal details providing the performer has entered this information for viewers.

Goal Progress Bar

When a goal is set, you can view the progress of the goal as tips are sent to the broadcaster here. Help the chat room reach its goals to unlock special performances!

Quick Tip Buttons

The quickest way to send tips in chat to the broadcaster. Choose a token tip amount of 5, 10, 25, or 50 tokens

Enter Tip Amount

To send a tip amount other than what is offered via the Quick Tip Buttons, here you can enter the number of tokens that you’d like to send to the broadcaster. Send a generous tip to show how much you enjoy the show. A low tip may be misunderstood as insulting, so tip wisely.

Buy Tokens

Click this button to buy more tokens. A new window will appear listing the Cam4 token packages. If a window does not appear, disable any popup blockers you may be running.

Token Balance

This area shows your current token balance. Tokens are used to send tips to broadcasters to let them know that you’re enjoying their show. Cam4 sells many token packages. You can view them by clicking the link above or the token icon as shown below.

What is Cam4 Tipping?

Viewers

All members of Cam4 can purchase tokens to tip broadcasters as a means of expressing their appreciation for a performance. Tipping gives the broadcaster actual cash.

Tokens are available to purchase in packages – the cost per token is reduced with larger token packages. Click here to view the available token packages

Broadcasters

All Cam4 broadcasters can accept tips. You can see your tipping history, your earnings, etc from your Broadcasters Dashboard.
